We would rather set your expectations here than at reception. Gold Coins is best known for its day outings, and third-party reviews of the overnight side are more mixed than the reviews of the day product. The rooms are clean, air-conditioned and comfortable, and the grounds around them are the reason to book — not the interiors.

What you get is simple: 4 kinds of accommodation across the property, from a compact standalone cottage to a suite with its own plunge pool, plus tents for groups who want to sleep outdoors. Breakfast and the swimming pool come with every one of them. If you want a designed boutique room, we are not that. If you want to wake up on landscaped grounds a few minutes from your office in Electronic City, this works well.

Arriving and leaving

Check-in, check-out and the age rule

Check-in
From 2:00 PM. Earlier arrival is possible when the room is free, and it is released on the day based on how full we are. Ask when you book and reconfirm on arrival.
Check-out
By 12:00 noon. A late check-out may carry a charge depending on how many extra hours you need, and it depends on the next arrival.
Minimum age at check-in
18 years. The guest whose name the booking is in must be 18 or over and carry photo ID.
Parking
Free on-site parking inside the campus, included with the room.

Before you book

Questions about staying over

The ones reservations is asked most. If yours is not here, message us and we will answer it properly rather than vaguely.

What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 2:00 PM and check-out is by 12:00 noon, with one hour of grace. Early check-in or late check-out can usually be arranged at ₹1,000 + 5% GST, subject to how full we are that day.
Can I get an early check-in or a late check-out?
Yes, subject to availability on the day. Early check-in or late check-out is charged at ₹1,000 + 5% GST. Please request it at the time of booking and reconfirm on arrival — and remember there is already one hour of grace on the standard 12 noon check-out.
Do resident guests get access to the pool and the games?
Yes. Guests staying with us get access to the swimming pool and the indoor and outdoor games during their stay. The pool is open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and nylon or polyester swimwear is mandatory. The rain dance runs as a daily session from 3:30 to 4:30 PM.
Do you provide extra beds, and do children stay free?
Extra beds are available at an extra cost, confirmed when you enquire, subject to availability in your room category. Children below 5 stay free. Please share the ages of the children with your enquiry so we can price the stay exactly.
Is breakfast included with the room?
Yes — all our published rates are on the Continental Plan (CP) or above, so breakfast is always included. CP is room plus breakfast, MAP adds lunch or dinner, and AP includes all meals. Check the plan named on your confirmation to see exactly which meals are covered.
Can we block several rooms for a family function or a wedding party?
Yes, rooms can be blocked for functions and weddings against an advance — 40% for regular bookings and 50% for weddings. Speak to the team early for peak wedding season dates, as availability goes fast, and share your headcount so we can suggest the right mix of room categories.
Are room rates per person or per room?
Rates are per room per night for two guests. The Aqua Room is ₹3,999 with breakfast (CP), the Heritage Cottage starts at ₹4,999 (CP) and the Suite Room at ₹6,999, all + 5% GST. The Suite with Private Pool, Sky Room and Camping Room are priced on request. Extra beds are available at an extra cost, confirmed on enquiry.
What do EP, CP, MAP and AP mean on the room tariff?
They are the standard meal plans used by Indian hotels. EP (European Plan) is room only, CP (Continental Plan) is room plus breakfast, MAP (Modified American Plan) adds either lunch or dinner to breakfast, and AP (American Plan) covers all meals. Our published rates start at CP, so breakfast is always included, and every rate on our website names the plan alongside the price.
Which meal plan should I choose?
If you plan to eat out or you are only staying one night, CP is usually enough. If you are here for a full day or two and want to stay on the property, MAP or AP works out simpler and cheaper than ordering each meal separately. Tell us how long you are staying when you enquire and we will tell you which one costs less for your trip.
Is breakfast included in the room rate?
Yes. All our published rates are on the Continental Plan (CP) or above, so breakfast is included at the base rate — for example, the Aqua Room at ₹3,999 + 5% GST comes with breakfast. Lunch and dinner are added through the MAP and AP plans.

Room tariffs in India are quoted against a meal plan. Here is what each one covers.

EP — European Plan
The room only. No meals are included.

The room plus breakfast, and either lunch or dinner — your choice.
AP — American Plan
The room plus breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything is covered.

Every room rate on this website is quoted against one of these four plans, and the plan is always named in full alongside the price. Children below 5 stay free; children aged 6 to 10 are charged a child rate that includes the extra bed and their food.
