Resort Near Hosur Road, Bangalore

Hosur Road is not a neighbourhood so much as a corridor, running from Silk Board junction south through Bommanahalli, Electronic City, Bommasandra and Chandapura to the Attibele toll and on to Hosur town. Gold Coins Club & Resort sits just off the middle of it. The turn is at Electronic City Phase II onto Huskur Road, and from there it is about a kilometre of village road to the gate at Andapura. What that means in practice is that almost anyone living or working along this corridor already drives past the turning regularly without knowing it. If you are north of Electronic City the elevated expressway does the heavy lifting and you come down at the Phase II exit. If you are south, at Chandapura or Attibele, you come up the service road and turn in without paying the toll at all. The resort has been here since 1994, from the years when this stretch was still largely factories and farmland, and it has kept the land it started with: a large swimming pool, rain dance, lawns, indoor and outdoor games, a banquet hall, restaurant, bar and 59 rooms.
